What an amazing day yesterday at the Heritage Fibre Festival at Ireland House Museum in Burlington, hosted by

It was my first time attending (and the second annual iteration), and what ideal fall weather we had. There was excellent live music, delicious coffee, beautiful trees and friendly people (hi neighbours!).

Thank you to everyone who came out, it was so lovely to meet new people and also see a few familiar faces. It’s really wonderful to be able to talk in person about knitting, yarn, projects, crochet, and even Tunisian crochet 😀 Thanks to the organisers - Miriam, you did a super job! Finally, huge thanks to my mom who was a great partner 💕

I’ll definitely be marking the last weekend in September for this event, moving forward…

I’m excited to share that I’ll be vending at the Heritage Fibre Festival at Ireland House Museum (2168 Guelph Line, Burlington, ON) from 10am - 3pm on Saturday, September 26, 2026, hosted by It’s looking like a beautiful day weather-wise, so a great opportunity to come out and enjoy all the fibre-y goodness! Perhaps get some inspiration for a fall/winter project?

I’ll have all my yarn in tow and I would love to see you again or meet you for the first time - we can chat about knitting and yarn 😎

* Thank you to all the lovely fibre enthusiasts who came to the fair and who support our creative endeavours! I absolutely love meeting you and talking yarn, knitting, crochet, weaving… I learn something new each fair and meet so many wonderful people.

* Thank you to all the kind, generous and thoughtful volunteers! To be offered an opportunity for a quick break or a little snack, always with a smile and enthusiasm makes the day that much better.

Almost ready… Still a few last-minute preparations and organising before the show starts at 9:30, but I’m pumped for an amazing day tomorrow!

Two more sleeps! 🙌🏻🎉 It’s serious tagging time - my least favourite part of the process but it does close the loop… I have been dyeing up a storm getting ready for the KW Knitters Guild Knitters’ Fair on Saturday. I have some luxurious and interesting new bases and lots of colours for you to come pet.

Looking forward to seeing you again or meeting you, and chatting all things knitting, stitching and yarn 😀 9:30 - 4 at the Aud in Kitchener on Saturday.

One more sleep until tomorrow’s Knot Just a Knit in Public Day at Bronte Creek Park ! 🙌🏻🧶🧦🧣

The weather forecast has stayed sunny for Saturday (yay) and I’m super excited to be there for the third year - it just keeps getting better!

If you’re looking to spend a bit of time stitching with fibre friends, checking out vendors and demonstrations, or just enjoying one of our gorgeous Provincial Parks, this is the place to be 😀 I’ll have all my yarn and a bit of sewing in tow - hope to see you there!
