Hi, friends - you may have noticed I haven't been around as much since January. I've been dealing with some health issues over the last few months but I'm hopping on to say that the shop has been updated! About Henber Handmade

Henber Handmade is an online knit and crochet shop that first came to fruition as an idea in 2018 but officially launched in 2020. At the time, I was in treatment for depression, an anxiety disorder, and atypical anorexia, which led me to learn how to crochet-and later knit-as a positive coping strategy for dealing with my mental health issues. Shortly after beginning treatment, my husband and I adopted an adorable tabby cat named Henry, who taught me how to be mindful and enjoy the comforting feeling of his soft fur. It also taught me to appreciate and be aware of the textures and materials around the home. Since then, I’ve been crocheting and knitting up a storm, often sharing my work with close friends and family. But now, I want to share my projects with you! It’s my goal to help others feel comforted, confident, and unique every time they don (or gift) one of my handmade items. Henber is for you, for someone you love, but most importantly, for everyone.
