MARRIAGE POV: Marriage isn’t staying the same people you were when you met. It’s choosing each new version of each other, over and over again.

The man I started dating at 22 wasn’t the same man I married as I celebrate 35 in Fall 🍂 . And I’m certainly not the same woman he married either.
Motherhood. Hundreds of days spent in hospital. Two kids. Four businesses. As we prepare to relocate one business and expanding another, I’m reminded that partnership isn’t about keeping score or taking turns perfectly. It’s about continually asking:

“What do you need from me right now?”

Sometimes one person leads while the other supports. Then you switch. For years, Cody stood beside me while I built businesses, communities, and dreams. Now, it’s my turn to support his.

To us, marriage is falling in love with every layer, season, and evolution of your partner while never losing sight of the life you’re building together. Supporting not only each other’s personal, professional, and cultural goals but the collective vision for your family.

And that’s the version of love that keeps us growing. 🤍🌿

Stories have always been a way to share knowledge, preserve culture, and connect across generations. This Indigenous Peoples Month, we’re highlighting books written by Indigenous authors. Stories, teachings, experiences, and perspectives that deserve space on everyone’s shelves. 🌿

Whether you’re looking to learn, reflect, connect, or simply discover your next great read, these are books that can educate, inspire, and deepen understanding. 📚✨

Which one are you adding to your reading list?

Dreamy summer snacks, slow mornings, warm cups of tea, and books that inspire gathering, cooking, and nourishing yourself 🌿☕🍓

This month’s Gather & Nourish collection was curated for those who believe good food is more than what’s on the plate — it’s ritual, community, connection, and the little moments in between.

📖 Okanagan Eats invites you into the flavours of the Okanagan through seasonal recipes inspired by local harvests, chefs, cafés, bakeries, and wineries.

🌱 Be Your Own Herbalist offers an approachable introduction to herbal living, encouraging small rituals, everyday wellness, and deeper connections to nature.

🍽️ Feasts on the Farm celebrates seasonal cooking, farm-to-table living, and the beauty of gathering around thoughtful meals.

For the tea lovers, snack collectors, cookbook enthusiasts, and anyone who believes a full belly is one of life’s greatest comforts — this collection was made with you in mind 🤎

Which one are you reaching for first?

.assu just casually “testing the products” at the store.

Do you need some inner healing ❤️‍🩹…. Ali had some BIG FEELINGS when she ordered 40+ different books about trauma (we all have it but no one talks about it… or we should talk about it more) From …

🫶🏽 narcissistic, abuse, and gaslighting books
🫶🏽 healing, sexual trauma workbook
🫶🏽 heal your anxious attachment or adult survivors of emotionally abusive parents
🫶🏽 finally what about healing, secondary trauma or adult children of high conflict parents

All light hearted jokes aside… no one sells these books but we do. It may not be the pristine beautiful book cover like our other books, but trust us doing the work and feeling good on the inside will help you feel great tackling the outside world.

Finally, let’s all scream for ice cream because has arrived.

PS and eyes masks are on point 😘🫶🏽
