The Boler Boutique started out as a home business called, Twisted Trendz, shortly after I had my daughter in 2014. I bought my first sewing machine and began to create. That hobby turned into a store front an hour away and I would travel down a couple days a week to sew and sell my creations. After a couple years the popularity of the store grew and so did my belly with a new creation that was eventually going to take my attention away from the shop. Being a one woman show, I knew I had to come up with something a little more flexible with a new baby coming and an already wild child at home. I started my search again for the perfect solution to be able to keep creating fun & comfortable fashion items for kiddos. After 22 hours of driving, with the help of my amazing daddio, we came home with the perfect 1972 Boler, now known as The Boler Boutique. The plan now is to do pop-up shops and markets all around Flagstaff, Camrose, Red Deer & Edmonton areas. Keep a look out and make sure to come and say Hi!
Who's Behind The Boler:
Hi! I'm Tara. Wife to Trystan, Mommy to Blakley Saige, Kiptyn Kruze, and two slobbery bulldogs; Roxee & Axel. I am the creator, maker and all things fun that has to do with The Boler Boutique. I grew up in a small Alberta town, about 1000 people, called Sedgewick and have always been on the creative side. Growing up, I spent my days swimming in mud, building forts and playing sports. After highschool, I went and spent two years in Edmonton getting my certificates in Graphic Sign Arts, and Graphic Communications. After that, I moved to Red Deer and enrolled in the Hairstyling & part esthetics programs. Nine short years later after working in salons and owning my own, I had my daughter, quit my career, and was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. I had a new look on life after that and realized how short it really is, nothing is promised so do something that makes you smile right!? I wanted to express some creativity so I bought my first sewing machine. Soon after I got started on my first project of making my daughter some simple leggings, I quickly realized I shouldn't have skipped all those HomeEc classes in highschool to go and get a slushie from the local Q-Mart- Sorry Miss Sturgess, I regret it now. lol
