Beyond grateful for the folks who choose to give their still-good items a new life at the Closet instead of sending them to the landfill! ♻️💚

With fast fashion creating so much unnecessary textile waste, every piece of clothing that gets reused matters. Donating gives perfectly good items another chance to be worn and loved while keeping them out of our landfills.

In recognition of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Wednesday, September 30th, Lynn has created this beautiful display at the Capreol Community Closet. 🧡

We invite you to stop by, take a moment, and learn. Pick up an orange shirt to wear, choose one of the books to read, and take some time to reflect on the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, and the families and communities whose lives continue to be affected.

Wearing orange is a symbol; but listening, learning, remembering and carrying these stories forward are part of reconciliation too.

Our orange shirts are available free of charge, as always. If you need one, please take one. 🧡
