3 true things about me :

- i love a good action/thriller movie!! there’s just something about that anxiety rush lol some of my favs to watch are; the equalizer, taken + man on fire.

- some people collect shoes, i collect records! i could spend hours in a record store just sifting through crate after crate.
pro tip: find someone with a cool record collection and marry them, now it’s yours too! haha

-I believe the best things in life are slow—like growing plants, flipping records, and finding the perfect vintage piece at the bottom of a thrift bin.

Hey there! I’m Minerva — but you can call me Min.
I’m the heart behind of the roses - a small curated shop that carries vintage + modern clothing and accessories for kids.

I was born in Mexico and moved to Canada when I was 8 (most of my family is still back home!) I lived most of my life in Calgary but when we found out we were pregnant with olive we decided to move out of the city and look for a home, i now reside in cardston with my husband, two kids and our kitty frito.

When I’m not running the shop, you’ll usually find me listening to music, pairing, crafting, reading a book in bed, or getting my hands dirty in my garden. 🪴

This whole journey started while I was preparing for my first baby— I quickly realized how wild the price tags were for baby clothes and decided there had to be a better way. Thrifting became my go-to, I loved finding adorable, quality pieces for a fraction of the price. Naturally i had to share this with others.

so proud to be part of the circular fashion movement — helping reduce waste while keeping prices down and keeping your little ones looking hip.
