I have found some silky merino blend ball of yarn that I combined with alpaca/silk and cottons, and this interesting one of a kind piece got created. Knit is extra long size. Just one like this. And one similar to this one in a small size.

My necklace scarves… are in process of creating…for fall and winter and just any season….
How I make them? First there is a long process of collecting, buying, treasure hunting for the right yarns and textures. Then there is finally a day when I organize my yarns and sort them by colour groups and textures to make little “teams” which I later crochet and then I add silky ribbons. Then I hand dye them and once they are dried I start finishing them with attaching last complementing ribbons.
Sometimes I do not know until last stage how the whole scarf will turn out. I do work in small batches of colours and hues so at the end almost each scarf is different from one to another.

Catching up this week with knitting the shawls with soft mercerized cotton in hues of caramel, cream and turquoise. Available in all sizes: small, medium, large and XL.
It has been vey popular this summer and it seems to bring everyone a smile on their face when wearing it🌞🤗
Each one is different but all in same spectrum of colours.

After 2 weeks of being evacuated due to Bradley Creek fires we finally returned home this past Sunday. So happy to be safe and that our home and community was not burnt down. Here is some of my new shawls I knitted for fall. Today I am at the Enderby Farmer’s Market which has beautiful coffee shops and I took some photos of their entrances. Tommorrow you can find me at Kelowna Farmer’s Market.

Find me today at the Vernon’s Farmer’s Market, tommorow in Enderby’s Farmer’s Market and in Kelowna on Saturday’s Market from 9-1.
Look, we finally got blue skies after a week of dark grey smoke and horrible fires.
My family has been evacuated and we are still waiting to go home, we hope it happens soon🙏
Our home and our community is safe but about 250 in our area of Westside Road has been lost to fires. We desperately need rain soon as it has been too dry for too long.
