Do you have extra baby/toddler clothes (or anything listed in the last photo) laying around? One Plane Away is a non profit organization that runs in Nunavut, providing gently used clothing and baby items for the littles of Nunavut who are in need.

Because I love little ones so much and I have started sewing baby toys, I will be preparing a donation box to send up North in the coming weeks. If youā€™d like to contribute, you can check out their page to see how you can donate, or I can meet or pickup items to include in the box I will be sending away.

Check out this ā€˜I spyā€™ blanket! Made with so much love for a special little one (2 yrs old) in my life.

This ā€˜I Spyā€™ quilt is perfect for learning colours, letters, words, animals and so many more things! So many tiny and fun details went into this crazy quilt. Can you find hulk with a fox body?šŸ˜‚

This was so much fun to create and Iā€™m excited to create more of these!

Iā€™ve been off this page for a couple months working on this. Will post some things that I have made that are able to be purchased later this weekšŸ„°

My newest, and favourite creation so far! These hanging carseat/stroller toys are perfect for baby. Fun colours, crinkly noises, and teething grade wooden balls inside are perfect for those teething babies. And of course, button snaps to attach to handles so baby canā€™t throw the toys away and lose it on your walk.

Did you know that even though Island Waste Management tells you to put your plastic cereal and cracker box liners in the waste, there are still many ways to recycle and reuse them!?

The crinkle inside the ā€˜Bunny Ears Teethersā€™ is from recycled cereal box liners! How cool is that?

Next time you finish a box of cereal, think about ways you can reuse it:
-Cut into squares and use to separate hamburger patties in a freezer bag for the freezer
-Use as a shake and bake bag for chicken or anything messy.
-Use as an icing bag by filling with frosting, and cutting a small corner.

OR save and store, then donate to Sew Practical Creations when picking up your purchase!
***be sure to thoroughly rinse liners with soap and water before storing
