Today we say goodbye to Lady Slipper and somehow those words don't seem real. What began as a dream became much more than a ladies fashion boutique. Lady Slipper became a place where friendships were made, stories were shared, and confidence was found.

I have been incredibly blessed to have spent four decades doing something I truly loved. To our wonderful customers, I thank you for choosing us, supporting us, trusting us and letting us become part of your story.

To my amazing team past and present: thank you for your loyalty, dedication, laughter, hard work and friendship. Lady Slipper is what it is because of you.

And to downtown Charlottetown - thank you for being home to Lady Slipper for over 40 remarkable years. I could never have my boutique anywhere else.

Closing the doors will be bittersweet but I choose to look back with gratitude rather than sadness. I am proud of what we built together and grateful for the memories that will always stay with me. The doors may close but the Lady Slipper's legacy will always have a place in my heart.

As we approach the closing of Lady Slipper Intimate Apparel & Accessories this Saturday, I cannot let the chapter end without the recognition of Carolyn MacKinnon. For many years she has worked by my side, sharing everyday challenges, successes, laughter and special moments that have made Lady Slipper what it is.

Her loyalty, dedication, hard work and commitment have been truly remarkable. She is so much more than a retail operator - she has been a trusted colleague, friend and valuable part of our Lady Slipper family.

Carolyn is a very big part of our success and I will be forever grateful for her contribution to the business and to me personally.

THANK YOU, Carolyn, for standing beside me, and believing in Lady Slipper, and giving so much of yourself over the years. ❤

Only 4 days to go and Lady Slipper Intimate Apparel & Accessories will be closing their doors on a 40 plus year business in ladies fashion! Thanks for the wonderful stories of how we have styled you and your family over the years.
