✨ ✨ Downtown Spotlight: Northern Watters Knitwear and Tartan Shop ✨ ✨

Meet Craig Buffett, Vice President of Northern Watters Knitwear.

Craig’s sister, Wanda, first purchased and opened the business in Charlottetown in 2007, and her Halifax shop shortly thereafter in 2018. She and a team of knitters do all the knitting, and while Craig does enjoy crafting and creating, his talent involves acrylic paint and canvas. You might even see a few of his pieces throughout the stores!

For years, Craig worked in finance, but has recently joined the team to help support the existing Halifax location in Historic Properties. He will also be opening a new location at The PIER this spring, and is looking forward to a busy tourism season.

Their sweaters, scarves, hats, and mittens are all made with 100% British Virgin Lamb Wool. These cozy winter accessories come in a variety of styles and colours. Custom orders and alterations can also be arranged. Additionally, they keep range of provincial and clan tartans in-stock, as well as products from other local artisans. Check out their large selection of handmade, local products online or in-store from 9:30 am – 5:30 pm Monday – Saturday, 11 am – 5 pm on Sundays.
