The Gusty Road and the Queen City Line.

The Gusty Road is inspired by the Stetson open Road, but with a slight gus crown, a subtle mule kick with a couple of cutter bumps (which I’m still undecided if I’m going to keep them) also inspired by Melissa Furlotte’s song, “The Old Road” this hat was up cycled from one of the first hats I made a couple of years ago, which was also up cycled from a 4X Resistol “cowboy hat”

The Queen City Line is for a BC bus driver in the Queen City of BC, Nelson. Their colours are grey and green. Slightly narrower brim so it can be worn while driving, midweight so should be good and durable. Made from Czech 100% rabbit fur felt.

P.S. these two hats are going to be worn by Brothers on opposite ends of the country.

A couple of Indy hats this week,

It has been a minute since I have made an Indiana Jones Fedora, funny enough I got two requests within a few days of each other by two men with the same last name, different parts of the country…

Here is a Raiders style fedora and a Crusade inspired fedora, but in Sable instead of Nutmeg, this one will be his “dog walking hat” so I’ve named it the K-9 Crusader.

The Mocha Lady, up-cycled from a 54 (6 3/4) Siratelli 6X western hat to a 53 cm Western/Dress hat for a nice lady. The smallest hat I’ve ever made.
