Here's a bottle stopper I just finished made from multi-coloured laminated wood. I hope you can see all the colours in it. My wife says it reminds her of a kids spinning top. I think it looks like a "conch" shell. What'a you thunk ?

This "Nouveau Sceptre" pen is made from Spalted Buck Eye Burl. All the polished metal components are made from 2 microns thick, 22 kt Gold, & or Rhodium.
In has inside a high quality Schmidt steel cartridge with a ceramic point, which makes this roller-ball one of the smoothest flowing pens you will ever use. The fountain pen it comes with a Schmidt German made medium gauge gold & iridium nib.
My thanks to D.B. who's insight in design made this pen possible.
