Dearest Customers,

We wanted to share an important update as we begin the final chapter of our store.

Online ordering is now closed. All online orders have been shipped, and we thank you so much for your support through our online shop.

Our last day of in-store operations is planned for Friday, with doors closing at 4:00 PM. If there are still items remaining on the sales floor, we may extend operations through Monday, and we will keep you updated. We are sill offering 75% off remaining inventory with some great items still to be had.

If you have a local pickup order, please plan to pick it up as soon as possible. If you’re unable to make it in by Friday at 4:00 PM, please call the store so we can make other arrangements with you.

Looking ahead, we will also be hosting a garage-sale-style fixture sale next week, so stay tuned for more details on that. We will have bottles and jars, acrylic risers and containers, mailing supplies, office supplies, stationary, shelving, slat wall pegs, shelves and shelf blades, and much more. The sale will be cash only and first come first served.

Thank you again for being part of our journey. Your support has meant more to us than we can say, and we truly appreciate every customer who has walked through our doors. Your well wishes and personal stories over the past weeks have touched our hearts.

We wanted to make sure you got the memo as we wind down inventory. After 18 incredible years, All Things Being Eco is in the process of closing its doors, and our storewide clear out sale is now well underway with 25% off everything. Products are moving quickly, and many customer favourites are already selling out.

The refillery has been flying. Skincare and makeup shelves are thinning by the day. Everyday essentials like socks, bras, and underwear are disappearing fast. Once these items are gone, they will not be restocked.

This store was built to make sustainable, ethical living accessible in our community, long before it was easy to find elsewhere. Watching these products find their final homes with you has been both emotional and deeply meaningful. If there’s something you’ve been meaning to stock up on, try, or simply can’t imagine living without, now is truly the moment.

A few important reminders as the sale continues:

The sale runs until inventory is gone. We do not have a set closing date.

Our refill program is ending, but all active cards and points will be honoured. For every 10 points accumulated we will take $1 off.

Gift cards! If you have one, please redeem it soon as it cannot be redeemed for cash.

After January 6th, all sales are final.

Special orders are no longer available.

Fixtures and accessories will be sold as they become available. Our wooden hangers are currently for sale - $5 for 25 hangers. Both top and bottom hangers are available. Cash only and no holds.

After 18 years of serving our community, it is with a full and heavy heart that we share the bittersweet news: All Things Being Eco will be closing its doors.
As we reflect on this journey, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for everything we’ve shared together. From navigating the 2008 recession right off the bat, enduring COVID and facing multiple break-ins and vandalism, to celebrating trade shows, fashion shows, community awards, newspaper features, documentary spots, renovations, expansions, pioneering the soap refillery business and receiving countless 5-star reviews from you—our loyal customers—this adventure has been extraordinary. We’ve celebrated births, mourned losses, cried in both celebration and anguish together and every moment has been a blessing.  All Things Being Eco was created to bring together everything you could need to live a greener, more sustainable life in a time when these things were not so easily found (especially in our small city). From the beginning, our hope was that sustainable, organic, vegan and ethical products would become part of everyday shopping everywhere—and that moment has finally arrived.
We have been honored to serve as your trusted one-stop shop for eco-friendly, organic, and zero-waste living. Every purchase you made contributed not only to our little store but also to the planet and our broader community. Together, we’ve made a difference, one thoughtful choice at a time.
