early in May, my Expert 24 vinyl cutter that we bought almost 14 years ago decided to put herself into retirement 🥺 that was the OG machine that I had started my journey into business with!

at this point, she was strictly just our trackside/event cutter as we upgraded to our beloved Roland machines in the office years ago. after a bit of research, I decided to try my luck with my very first Cricut to be our new trackside machine!

we do less than 10 events per year so I'm excited to have a machine that I can bring home & create things with when we aren't working an event. my Roland's are strictly for vinyl cutting + printing, so the Circut is opening a whole new world for me for new projects like paper crafting!

i have not even scratched the surface with this thing & I am itching to get creative with it 👩‍🎨

I blinked & May was over 😩

If you discovered me through Little Details Co., you may not know that this is actually my second small business venture. Long before LDC, there was Bickle Designs - the little biz that started it all

Bickle Designs specializes in motorsports & powersports graphics, as well as commercial printing. It was created to work alongside my family's motorsports business, that my dad started over thirty years ago, in the Canadian racing industry.

Every May, racing season comes alive. Each race series, organization & riding school across Canada, all launch their new season. This means our schedule quickly fills with back-to-back, even overlapping, events & tight deadlines.

As much as I love sharing about my small businesses on social media, it often takes a back seat during the busiest part of the season. Now that the initial rush has settled, I'm looking forward to being back, sharing more projects, and keeping up with regular posting again!

I personally know how disappointing it can be to receive low quality vinyl, which is why I have spent so much time sourcing supplies that I know & trust. I never use anything that I am not genuinely happy using myself!
