Gown HEMMING

For Brides who decide to wear high heels for their ceremony & pictures and then switch shoes for their reception to a much lower heel, have you thought about the movement you will have for the remainder of your special day?
Once your hem is professionally altered to the height of your shoes of choice you need to consider how easily you will be able to move once you change into comfortable shoes for your reception.
This is so important!
If you start off your day with 4” heels and change to flats your hemline will be puddled on the floor which will cause a tripping hazard.
Having to lift the excess material off the floor all night is not the best option especially when you have spent money on hemming alterations.
We take the time to discuss this and other important info that you may not think of.

Happy 20th year Lasting Memories TMB/LMBridal Alterations Boutique at our Hibernia Street location.
35 glorious years since the creation of Lasting Memories.

As I look back to my opening day I didn’t fully realize at the time my full dream, my love for textiles in a bridal fashion industry designing & tailoring would lead to such a magical career meeting and working with the most amazing women.
I count my blessings daily that I still love coming to “work”
Thank you to all my amazing clients who graced my doors and helped make my work days magical.
