NEW Syllabic Design Drop — Setsuné / Sets’unè
Meaning “grandmother.”

Honouring my dear grandmother and all grandmothers. ♡

My Setsuné raised me, and she will always hold a sacred place in my heart. I grew up listening to her speak Denesųłiné fluently. I remember how her whole spirit lit up when she could speak “chip” with someone. She is truly the inspiration behind everything I do.

Today marks 12 years since she made her journey to the spiritworld. I miss her deeply, but this year I’m honouring her in a good way — through language, through creation, and through carrying her strength forward.

This design is for her, and for all grandmothers. They are the matriarchs, the glue, the heartbeat of our families.Hold your kokums and setsunés close. Honour them in all they do.
