My happy place? Definitely my craft room right here at home in Cold Lake. It’s more than just a space; it’s where my creativity comes alive as I design jewelry and create greeting cards. It’s my sanctuary where I feel most connected to myself.

I was reading something that reminded me how important natural elements are for our well-being. Even though I’m inside creating, I love to bring a touch of the outside in to enhance my focus and sense of calm. For me, aromatherapy plays a big part in setting the mood for my creative flow.

These are a few of the nature-inspired scents I reach for when I’m in my craft room:

🌲 Siberian Fir: For Creative Clarity
This essential oil helps to clear my head and ease any tension, allowing my creativity to flow more freely. It’s like a breath of fresh air for my mind.

🌿 Cedarwood: My Grounding Companion
When I need to feel rooted and focused on a detailed task, Cedarwood is my go-to. It brings a sense of stability and calm to my workspace.

💧 Cypress: To Keep the Energy Moving
If I ever feel creatively blocked, the uplifting aroma of Cypress helps to get things moving again. It’s like a gentle nudge towards new ideas and possibilities.

I often diffuse these oils while I’m working on my handmade diffuser bracelets and other creations. It’s a way to infuse intention and a little bit of nature into everything I make.
