🧵 Before ➜ After
Sometimes clients bring me garments not for a regular alteration, but to fix work that has already been done by someone else.
That was the case with this dress.
Correcting someone else’s work is often much more challenging than starting from scratch. First, the original stitching has to be carefully removed, and with delicate fabric there’s always a risk of damaging it or causing runs.
Despite the challenges, I was able to repair the seams and complete the alteration neatly. I’m very happy with the final result, and that’s what matters most to me.
I always strive to make every repair look as though it was done right the first time.
