Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through engaging conversations about hockey equipment and skating accessories
Conduct professional skate fittings, including measuring, heat molding, boot selection, blade sharpening recommendations, and fitting adjustments to ensure optimal comfort and performance
Demonstrate product features and benefits through hands-on product demos, highlighting key technical specifications and usage tips
Assist customers with selecting appropriate hockey gear such as helmets, pads, sticks, gloves, and apparel, providing expert advice tailored to skill level and playing style
Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and maintaining organized merchandising displays
Upsell complementary products by understanding customer needs and offering suitable upgrades or accessories to enhance their experience
Maintain a clean, organized sales floor by restocking merchandise, merchandising products attractively, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent condition for display
