🎨 A little yarn-for-art trade! 🧶💕

I have a large canvas wall piece that started out with simple lines in white, black and grey. I handed it over to my very artistically gifted granddaughter and asked her to add some colour and work her magic.

No rules. No direction. Just her creativity. 🎨✨

I’m waiting patiently (well… trying to 😉) for her to finish, and I cannot WAIT to see what she comes up with!

In return for her artistic talents, I whipped up this adorable pink “bun” in a steamer basket for her fidget collection. 🩷🥰

And now I’m sharing a little sneak peek… because when the canvas is finished, I’ll post the before & after so you can see what my girl created!

Rainy days were made for a hot cup of tea and a little crochet magic ☕🧶

Just finished this cozy drawstring bag — cream mesh top, rich teal base, and those sweet wooden + bead details on the cords.

Made with soft acrylic yarn so it’s durable, easy to care for, and perfect for tossing in your everyday essentials (or your current WIP 😉).

🫧🫶Inspired by a stingray’s grace - real stingrays “fly” through the ocean by flapping their large, wing-like pectoral fins.

🪸Just like their real-life counterparts, stingrays don’t have bones! Their skeletons are made of flexible cartilage (the same stuff in your ears and nose), which helps them move elegantly underwater.

In nature, stingrays give birth to live pups that are fully formed and ready to swim.🤿

🌊✨ Not sure why ocean creatures have been inspiring me so much lately, but I’m absolutely loving all the beauty and magic they bring!

These sweet Sakura Stingrays (crocheted in the softest pink and blue) are like little reminders to stay gentle, graceful, and full of wonder—just like the underwater world itself. 🪸💕

🌸 Just loving this super cozy, squishy blanket yarn lately! It makes the most adorable plushies.🧶

I finished this sweet little highland cow as a surprise for a co-worker (shhhh… she doesn’t know yet 😉).

She stands about 11” tall and even has a real working metal cowbell around her neck that actually rings!🐮

I always appreciate a well-written pattern, and this one from was an absolute delight to make. Turned out even cuter than I imagined!

❤️ In Memory of Carlos ❤️

I was truly honoured to create this special crochet chihuahua for a young girl who has been grieving the loss of her beloved best friend. This guy was made with so much love and care to help honour his memory and hopefully bring her some comfort during this difficult time.

He’s made with thick, snuggly blanket yarn and stands approximately 16” tall and 14” long. His limbs are fully poseable so he can sit nicely or get into playful positions.

I’m so grateful to have used the beautifully detailed 35-page pattern by ami_amor6.

Carlos will forever have a special place in her heart — and now in this sweet keepsake too. 🐾

🧶✨ Just finished taking pics of my Highland Cow that I crocheted a whole year ago! 😅

I finally got around to taking proper photos of him recently, and wow — he turned out even better than I remembered!

This guy was made from a very detailed 46-page pattern (thank goodness it had tons of pictures!). It was definitely a labour of love, but so worth it. The final piece is nicely structured and cuddly — honestly, the photos don’t do him full justice!
The perfect finishing touch was this adorable cow bell I got from Amazon. It makes him look so authentic and Scottish! 🐮🛎️

Highland cows have such personality, don’t they? I’m so happy with how he turned out.
