People know this brand- Blume are all over social media and we hear often-" oh I always order my Blume online". Yes, you can get it on Amazon, direct from them, and from Costco now.
We stand behind the brand and love their products. We've been carrying it for over 5 YEARS. It's a small Vancouver wellness company. When they first opened, you'd only see it in little boutique shops like ours in BC until they got bigger and hired an amazing marketing team.
But we still carry it, 5 years later and that matters. Please consider if you'd rather line the pockets of Jeff Bezos and contribute to the US economy, when it's made right here in BC, or if you want to support little shops like ours and many others across BC that have carried Blume Superfoods since day one. Every dollar you spend in your local community goes back to the community in a much bigger way.
We understand when they have big sales that are literally our profit margin, it doesn't make sense to buy from small businesses. Another way to undermine small shops.
Im sharing this today because I recently had a conversation about this with a customer who told me they had never considered that buying local meant more money in the community, BC, Canada and ultimately our tax base. I assumed everyone already knew this. So I suppose sharing and education is important as a retailer. How and WHERE you choose to spend your money has power.
