To our Creston community,

With heavy hearts, we’re sharing that KootsRoots in Creston will be closing its doors on Tuesday, February 25 (end of day).

We want to start with a sincere thank you for your patronage, your support, and your encouragement. KootsRoots has only been in business for two years, and although we poured everything we had into making it work, the timing simply wasn’t in the stars for us.

In that short time, we were honoured to provide a retail space for nearly 100 local artisans, makers, and small businesses to sell their creations and products. We couldn’t have chosen a better location, and our patio was simply spectacular in the warmer months - it became one of the sweetest parts of the KootsRoots experience.

We also want to share that our locally roasted Sasquatch Coffee will still be available until closing day - both as bags of coffee to take home, and as specialty drinks served in the coffee shop right up until Feb 25.

The truth is, it’s been a rough couple of years for small businesses. Rising costs and a difficult economy have made it incredibly hard to keep doors open, and we know we aren’t the only ones feeling it. We’re deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve this community, and for every single purchase, share, visit, and kind word along the way.

Between now and Feb 25, we invite you to come in, shop local, and support our vendors …many of them will continue online, through markets, and in other local spaces. If you’ve ever had your eye on something, now is the time to grab it.

Most of all, please continue to support your local small businesses. We simply cannot do it without you.
