One of the most beautiful parts of custom jewellery is seeing an idea slowly become something real.For Lynn’s push present, the process began with the wax model, giving her a first look at the shape and feel of the ring before it was brought to life in gold. From there, the design was refined through the CAD render, checked for fit, and finally created as a finished piece.

Seeing Lynn open the box and try on the final ring was such a special moment. This piece was made to celebrate a meaningful chapter in her life, and I love how personal and beautiful it turned out.

This piece brings together 19K white gold and 18K yellow gold, combining natural diamonds with a lab-created diamond for a design that feels both classic and personal.

I’m honoured to be invited to speak as part of the panel at the Delta Women’s Network Sunset Social on Thursday, August 27 at 6:00 PM.

This event brings together local women for connection, conversation, shared experiences, and community. I’m looking forward to being part of the discussion and spending the evening with so many inspiring women in Delta.

I’m also donating one of my handmade pendants, the Sterling Silver Hummingbird Pendant, for the event, which makes this even more special for me! Here's a look at a few of the most recent pieces that I got to design for my clients!

Some pieces begin with a milestone. Some begin with a stone a client has held onto for years. Some begin with a design idea that finally finds the right materials.

This anniversary ring was created in 18K yellow gold with a 19K white gold top, a 1.58 ct laboratory-created centre diamond, and pear-shaped diamonds along the shoulders. It was made as a gift, and hearing that the client loved it made it even more special.

The ruby ring began with a stone that already had meaning. My client had been given the 3.30 ct oval ruby as a gift and had always wanted to reset it. I paired it with two oval Canadian diamonds in 18K yellow gold, and it was an honour to help turn that stone into something she could wear and enjoy.

The trinity-style ring was made for an engagement, with a 0.50 ct Canadian diamond in the centre and 0.45 ctw of Canadian diamonds on the shoulders. A beautiful piece for a very happy couple.

And lastly, the tanzanite earrings are some of the most special earrings I have made this year. 19K white gold, natural diamonds, and beautiful tanzanites at the bottom. They looked absolutely gorgeous on my client.

That is what I love about custom jewellery. It is never just about the metal or the stones. It is about the moment, the person, and the story the piece gets to carry forward.

Some pieces come together because the stones seem meant to be together.

This new pendant was created in 19K white gold with a freshwater pearl, a light blue sapphire, and a diamond detail. The pearl gives the piece softness, the sapphire adds that beautiful hint of colour, and the diamond brings just enough brightness at the top.

I wanted the design to feel elegant without being too formal. The bezel settings and milgrain detail give it a finished, refined look while still keeping the focus on the natural beauty of the stones.

It is a lovely piece for June, especially for anyone drawn to pearls but looking for something a little more personal than a traditional strand.

Pearls are not just the classic white strand many people imagine.

They come in so many shapes, colours, and personalities, which is why I love working with them. A soft purple freshwater pearl can feel light and fresh. A multicoloured strand with lilac and peach tones can feel perfect for summer. A black Tahitian pearl with a baroque shape can bring something more dramatic, with beautiful movement in the colour and lustre.

Tanzanite has a colour that is almost impossible to describe. Somewhere between blue and violet, shifting with the light in a way that feels alive.

For this custom ring, I chose a bezel setting in 18K yellow gold. The warm gold wraps the stone completely, protecting it while letting that extraordinary colour speak for itself. No distractions. Just the gem.
