These vintage pieces have gone from drab to dynamic with the aid of a local business. What was some tired standard grey pinstriped material is now a colour pop to hold its own against our art collection. One of our favourite relationships is with our custom upholstery workshop. They breath new life into pieces which has been a trend over the past year for two reasons and one important factor.
Local upholstery workshops across North America have been so inundated with record orders that they have already closed their order books for the winter holiday rush in the 2nd week of September. There are a few reasons why:
1. The supply chain issues which consumers have been hearing about for the past year & half have limited supply of new furniture that is manufactured outside of North America. This is due to the issues due to the & the & last winter's ...So people are searching for alternatives to purchasing new furniture
2. Sourcing new furniture made in has put a strain on the the existing Furniture manufacturers that are located in North America so that they are getting booked up past the holiday seasons already. This means that new pieces manufactured in North America are in short supply.
