Vests are back in a big way. To me, this is more a waist coat, perfect for our layering west coast. 100% wool and available in navy and black. Nice price as always from our cornerstone brand Part Two. Apparently, it’s another gorgeous day out- me, I am sky high and on my way to Quebec, so get ready for some gorgeous photos. Happy Saturday everyone 👗 all those buckets of flowers we sold ( topped with your generous donations) equals Meaghan Philip heading out again to the Okanagan. One island girl rallying her troops, gathering supporters and making a huge difference for people and animals. Giving hope and kindness. By you supporting us ( and all independent small businesses) it allows us help too. So thanks from all of us. Obviously, more flowers, bigger gardens needed for next year right?! A new, near and dear cause will come along 🙏 We’re not just pretty clothes around here😉

A little taste of Barbour season. It’s beyond iconic styles, it’s fabrics for our way of life. Whether you never step in mud, or have a desire to tromp thru a field or snuggle a dog ( this one, just say you like dogs and we’ll let it go ); Barbour takes fashion to a timeless place of good design and well chosen pieces. The details set them apart from all other brands. Wouldn’t they have liked to have been Barbour?! Lots of imitations, but only one Barbour. I posted this exact photo two years ago today. It was at the end of the day, on one of the most awful days of my life. It’s a lone flower from my garden representing our devastating fire that destroyed the old Fabrications, on this day, September 2024. I refused to allow the ugliness of that tragedy to define us, so I stood in my special place of happiness, trying to find peace and calm, amongst the unknown of fear and sheer panic. So today, I give thanks for who we have become, mostly because of our vision to not give up and because of all of you, who keep cheering us on. I thought I had to recreate the old version of Fabrications, to still be us. I was so wrong! You all have shown up these past two years and love the new home of Fab! I have learned so much along this path. In truth, any four walls would do, because it’s our heart and soul that represent the foundation. We thank you ; we are defined by your support, love, kindness. Our new version of ourselves is perfectly us. With much love and respect, I am so grateful to have you all along for this most magnificent journey💜
