Say hello to Julia — a valued member of The Tack Shoppe team whose passion for horses runs deep, both professionally and personally.
Julia brings a strong foundation in horsemanship, having previously backed and trained horses professionally. While she’s since shifted her career path into construction as a project manager, her love for developing young horses hasn’t gone anywhere — it’s simply evolved into a passion project she continues to pursue on her own time.
She has competed on the silver circuit in the hunter and jumper rings, giving her a well-rounded perspective that translates into her thoughtful approach with both horses and riders.
When she’s not at the shop or on a job site, you’ll find Julia enjoying a good book, spending time with her herd, or relaxing with her dog, Indy 🐾
Looking ahead, she’s especially excited to get back into backing and showing her young horses this year — both on the line and under saddle.

✨ MEET THE TEAM ✨

This week, we’re excited to introduce Raiwyn Cass!

Raiwyn has been a dedicated part of The Tack Shoppe team for many years and is truly a key member of our crew. Her knowledge, work ethic, and passion for the industry make her an invaluable part of what we do every day.

Raiwyn is also a valued member of the team at Crown Ridge Farms( ), where she has discovered a true love for breeding and developing young horses. Alongside Jenna, she co-owns the talented two-year-old Crown Ridge Magic Treasure(“Daisy”), who has already made an impressive mark in the show ring. Daisy earned multiple Champion and Reserve Champion titles last season, placed 4th in a highly competitive Yearling Sport Pony class at the Royal, and finished as the Year-End Junior Canadian-Bred Sport Pony Champion.

Raiwyn’s own accomplishments are equally impressive—she was crowned Champion Welsh Senior Showmanship and has her sights set on defending that title in 2026.

Outside of the farm, Raiwyn is a skilled farrier and is currently expanding her trade by pursuing a career in welding—bringing both strength and precision to everything she does.

When she’s not in the barn or working, you’ll likely find Raiwyn enjoying the outdoors with her Jack Russell, Amory—camping and making the most of their downtime together.

We’re incredibly lucky to have Raiwyn as such an important part of The Tack Shoppe team!
