Every year when the leaves change and the weather starts showing signs of crisp, autumn air, I crave the feeling of cracking open the pages of a new book and diving in with a big cup of tea by the fire place.

This blanket has been in progress for over a year. She waited patiently while I would pick up and complete other less tedious projects. But I'd always return. When I did, she would be waiting with a tranquil smugness that only a large crochet project could possess.
