Another upcycle moment!

If you... also have a giant jar of buttons... Here are some ideas for you and your friends, family, or kids!

🧵Decorate the pockets of some drab pants, or bring out an extra pop on a collared-shirt or their cuffs!
🧵Charms for your bag!
🧵Bedazzle an old tie
🧵Add buttons to textile collages to hang on your wall
🧵Make some cute little wired dolls!

Another idea is grab that jar of buttons, along with other scrap material, random trinkets, and treasures (think junk drawer) and lay it all out on the table for your kids and their friends and see what creations their precious minds come up with!
It's tactile, easy (for you), and it activates their imagination and creativity, motor and thinking skills!

Our community is so amazing. We are so appreciative and grateful for all of you who continue to help us out.

Someone was so, soo generous and bought us a brand-new dryer.

We are now able to get through our mountains of laundry much more efficiently.

If you're not out of town, start your long weekend with us learning to sew for the first time, or come for a refresher to get you back on your machine!!

We cover the basics:

🪡how to thread a machine
🪡fabric types
🪡thread types and more!

Make a tote bag to take home and carry aaall the things you’re about to make!! We’ll use a variety of machines to give you new confidence to execute your sewing ideas at home. !

You CAN bring your own sewing machine! Just come a little earlier so we can get it all set up!

We are so sorry to the folks who have experienced flooding so far this summer.

Our Towel Rag Boxes are on sale for $3 and may be in perfect or imperfect condition. But, if they can help with clean-up, or replace old ones without further breaking the bank, then we hope this helps.

With this nuts-bananas summer, they are also great back-up.
