Vintage Insights with Swish 👠 Long before Carrie Bradshaw graced our televisions wearing Manolos, the shoes had alreadyhad a long, successful history. The designer, Manuel Blahnik, began his journey as a young boy as he would watch his Mother have fun with fashion. After meeting with Diana Vreeland, the the editor in cheif of Vogue, he began his long and fuitfull journey as a shoe designer.

Bians Jagger wore Manolos while she, famously, rode a white horse into Studio 54. They are Anna Wintours favourite shoes. He has collaborated with John Galliano, Ozbeck, Zandra Rhodes, Ossie Clark, and others.

In the late 90s, along came S*x and The City and Carrie Bradshaw, and well, the rest is history!
