I had an interesting conversation today and thought I would just put a reminder when purchasing from artists...

Art is art. Art takes a lot of time and effort to create a piece. When an artists create something they are giving you a piece of themselves in return. Typically cost is higher than what you would pay in any big retailer because we need to factor in the use of our materials and time spent on each individual piece. Original pieces will ALWAYS be pricier than a print.

When you purchase from an artist you purchase a piece of them that has taken hours to create. Don’t question an artist about the price that they set. It’s there for a reason 🙂
