Some shirts are more than shirts. 🔥

We’re honoured to have been asked by the International Association of Wildland Fire to produce a shirt for this year’s Wildland Fire Canada Conference, featuring artwork by Jordan Twist, a self-taught artist from James Smith Cree Nation.

Rooted in Saskatchewan's wildfire experience and Jordan's work in Indigenous fire stewardship, the design brings together fire, stories and each other.

Experienced an electrical challenge with our trailer last night. So after a quick search online and a stop at our local Canadian Tire our challenge was solved.

So a quick sleep, repack the trailer and now we are off. Fingers crossed smooth sailing to .

Wildland firefighters know LACES:

Lookouts. Anchor Points. Communication. Escape Routes. Safety Zones.

It’s about awareness. Thinking ahead. Knowing your options when conditions change.

Those principles don’t have to stop at the fireline.

Who are my Lookouts?
What are my Anchor Points?
Am I communicating honestly?
What are my healthy Escape Routes?
Where are my Safety Zones?

Those questions became LACES for Mental Health, a way of taking something familiar from wildfire and using it to start a different kind of safety conversation.

Because sometimes the conditions that change aren’t around us.

They’re in us.

And we shouldn’t have to wait for a crisis before we start looking out for each other.

🔥 Trees on Fire Apparel is heading back to the AUPE Convention!

We were invited by AUPE -Local 5 to bring our gear and set up shop at this year's Convention, and we couldn't be more grateful. Last year's AUPE Convention was our very first live event as Trees on Fire — so being asked back for year two means a lot.

For those who don't know us yet: we started Trees on Fire out of a passion for the wildfire community and a commitment to mental health. Every piece we sell helps fund mental health supports for wildfire professionals, affected communities, and anyone impacted by wildfire — because everyone deserves access to the support they need.

Thank you to AUPE for having us back. We can't wait to see familiar faces, and meet new ones!

While our mission at Trees in Fire Apparel is centered on raising awareness and supporting the mental health of the wildfire community, we know that mental well-being matters for everyone.
