Today's (attempted) productivity is brought to you by SO much coffee ☕️

The storm and power outage has me sluggish today, and the power outage this morning didn't help either!

Please keep in mind that sewing isn't my only job right now, and my kiddos are home for summer, so turnaround times are a little longer, as I was not expecting this level of support as something I was planning on doing on the side (thank you thank you for referring friends though💕very grateful for you all)

I promise I have the date of your event written on your tags, and WILL always have them done at least one week before the big event. Earlier if I can, but my dress rack has been over flowing since April 😅 I currently have 17 dresses, 3 suits, a pair of dress pants, 2 jackets, a pair of skidoo pants, and curtains waiting to be worked on!

Thank you again for trusting me with your gowns, it means a lot to me and my family 🫶

On my machine today - the last step of a wedding dress alteration, sewing the lace back in place! As well as going over everhthing to make sure it's all neat, no strings are hanging off, and everything looks absolutely perfect for this brides big day 💕

If you are getting married in September or October, (or are in a wedding), now is the time to come in for fittings. 8 weeks before the big day is the ideal time to come in to get started, don't wait for the last minute!

Another stunning grad I got to work with 🥰

This one was a project, so I made sure to get her in early! But like 😍😍😍 the final result!!!

We took 11" off the hem of 6!! layers (my fellow shorties, you get it lol) because we had to take so much, I couldn't shorten it from the waist, so I had to take off all the bows, undo the pleats, take off the lace, cut, and then put all the layers back to their original state.

It also did not have anything under it to give it the body it was designed for, so she brought me 2 petticoats that I took apart to create a custom underskirt crinoline that helped bring this gorgeous dress to its full potential 💕

Also took a bit off the length in the back bodice, and shortened the straps, giving her a comfortable and perfect fit for her special day ✨️

This grad wanted to change out the straps on her dress from the beaded spaghetti to a thicker, ruffled strap. Whipped one up from the scraps off of her hem, and I'm obsessed! How cute is this! Excited to see it on her 😍

(Also, yes, my kids air hockey table is my work bench these days 😂)

Hi friends! I am almost finished up with grad season, but wedding season is already in full swing! I'm already full for weddings for the first half of July, so book in for August/September weddings asap.

Some reminders 💕

Book in well ahead of your event. Ideally 6-8 weeks before. I am a one woman show who runs 3 businesses, along side being a mom, so the more time you give me, the less stress for everyone involved, especially with gowns that need more work done. Once you're in my calendar, you're in the queue. So don't be afraid to text me to schedule something for even months down the road if you know you're in a wedding!

Because I primarily do formal wear, which takes a lot of time, my turn around time for small things such as pant hems in the summer is about 4 weeks. If you need something done sooner, I can bump it up, but it will come along with a rush fee.

Heads up that a lot of times Facebook doesn't let me open my messages from this page... frustrating. The best way to get ahold of me is through text 306 461 3414 (I work 3 jobs so text is preferred as I don't have a lot of time to take calls in a day)

That being said, I am also not able to take on any more grads, and my turnaround time even for small things is about 3-4 weeks currently because of grad, so thank you for your patience!
