Everything is designed, cut, sewn, ironed, and made to order right here in our little attic sewing studio in beautiful British Columbia. Once your order goes through our system, we write it in our sewing cue list (google sheet), and we are off and away! This made-to-order model allows us to be a littl
e more flexible in everything we do. We can offer simple alterations and customizations for customers at no added cost. We can use our remnant pieces for other projects and enjoy the knowledge of less waste to the planet. We can come up with new ideas to make things fit so that EVERY BODY can have comfortable clothes to wear. Our materials are purchased through a sustainable Canadian fabric supplier and as you might guess -the costs are a higher. We don’t have a factory where hundreds of units are constructed in an assembly line with fibres that are laden with pesticides and all its ills. We also don't have the incredible waste and poverty usually associated with fast fashion. All my circus and all my monkeys!! Our items are made to last, to be handed down, to be enjoyed for many years. Our selection is growing, but patterns are selected that are suitable for most bodies, that are comfy, durable and a classic design.
