A new chapter for Little Darlings, and one of our own handmade pieces got to be part of the story. 🌾✨

So proud to see this little gentleman's custom outfit out in the wildflowers for Happy Smiles Studio's latest storybook shoot! It was made just for this shoot, stitched by hand with all the little details that make a piece feel truly one of a kind.

There's something about bare feet, farm animals, and no schedules that just brings childhood back to its simplest, sweetest form. Thank you to the wonderfully talented Ginette of Happy Smiles Studio for bringing this vision to life and choosing a piece from Young World for such a special day.

Two dresses, two little stories 🌸
This custom order has just made its way to its new home, and my heart is so full! Two matching-but-different frocks, each stitched with its own bit of magic: a soft buttery yellow with hand-tied bows, and a blush pink featuring something brand new… embroidery! 🐰✨

That little bunny nestled among the wildflowers on the pink bodice is my very first embroidered detail, and I could not be more thrilled. Adding embroidery to the Young World toolkit means even more storybook magic is possible in custom pieces going forward, tiny characters, sweet motifs, personalised details stitched right into the fabric.

Thank you to this sweet family for trusting me with something so special, and for letting me stretch my creative wings a little further. Here’s to many more embroidered tales to come!

Some pieces are born from patience, precision, and a whole lot of love.

This Victorian-inspired velveteen dress was my most complex custom order to date, and honestly? I would do it all over again.

Deep burgundy velveteen. A dramatic layered bow collar. Pintuck hem detail. White ruffle hem peeping out like a little secret. Long puffed sleeves. Every single element had to be just right.

The client had a vision, and I had a commitment to honour it, stitch by stitch. There were revisions, there were late nights, and there were moments where I held this dress up and thought: this is exactly why I do this.

This is what handmade means at Young World. Not just pretty clothes, your child’s story, sewn into every seam. 🧵👑
