Hilma is a beautiful deep cloche - worn low, held close. She carries a quiet confidence, with just enough color to catch the light. An easy piece for days when you feel like stepping into yourself. ❤

This hat is handmade "from scratch" by fusing an upcycled silk dress and merino wool in a process called nuno (wet) felting. Finished this inspired cloche today with a delicate silk scarf wrapped around the hat and fashioned into a flower. Channeling the 20’s, pastel tones and a little Holly Hobby patchwork, this cloche is stunning, feminine and one of a kind. 💓. Can’t wait to see it on a model.

I’d like to thank my wonderful customers from this past weekend in Rothesay and the one previous to that in Fredericton. It has been a true pleasure connecting with you the last two weekends. Many of my hats found their people (three beauties posted below). I am SO fortunate to find people as excited about my hats as I am, who share their personal stories and few minutes of their time. I love hearing how the hats you’ve purchased are still in fab shape, and bring you joy/comfort in the winter.

I will be making more (of course), so stay tuned and see you in 2026.

One of my favorite gossamer hats, I love this video. Surrounded by one of my favorite models Lily Morgan, and photographer Jack, I can almost feel the heat pouring in through the large window into the space…. It takes a village to support a gal who just likes to beat up wool (and silk) and get it out to you folks. I am truly blessed by my friend’s support over the years.
Aaaand will be setting up at the Renforth artisan Market tomorrow, 10-4 in Rothesay at the Bill McGuire Centre.
