Well this has been a sad year. I lost my brother. He was10years younger than me. Richard ended up in the hospital and is still there for not sure how long. I have so many apples on my trees that I'm not sure what I am going to do with them. I have been crocheting a little bit and have lots of baby clothes and blankets. I have been trying to get everything sorted out. If anyone needs something for their little ones just email me and we can see what I have.

Good morning everyone. Sorry I haven't posted anything lately but with this snow I can't even get to my little house. I am still doing some crocheting and looking after my wonderful husband and all my kitties. Even the two that have wondered into my yard that I have no clue where they came from. The big grey fluffy one has been here for a couple of years now but he brought home a little black grey and white one. Haven't been able to get real close to her or him but named it two toes as it has 2 extra toes on both of his front feet. So I guess I will just keep feeding him as well. Not much else new.. Guess I should start my spring cleaning or maybe I'll just read another book for now.

Sorry I haven't posted a whole lot this year but it has been a weird year. My garden was the pits for the first time in 50 years and I lost most of my cats. I only have 3 adults and 2 kittens left and the one stranger that I'm not sure who he belongs to. Other than that we have been ok. Not going anywhere except to town for groceries. I have done some crocheting but not much. Been reading a lot and watching TV. Mostly ball games with my hubby. Our son had put in the crops this year and took them off. We did have a great surprise and that was our 50th anniversary. My sisters and brother came to celebrate and brought all the fixing. We had a great time. I thank them so much for doing that. So other than that there is not much new. I am just about finished a garden bee pattern and will post him when I'm done. So I hope you all have a great rest of your summer and stay warm this winter. Take care everyone and if you are looking for a gift for a child or adult, just email me and we will see what we can do. Most of my stuff is somewhere on this site.

Sad morning, Tigger had her babies last night. She had 4 but only one survived. The other three didn't get out of the birthing sack. Hopefully for her sake it will survive.

Well what a night. Cisco and I spent the night on the couch. I should say he was behind the couch and I was on it. There was a storm here and it's still raining. We have an inch and a half already and it's still pouring. Went out to feed the cats at 4am as I wasn't getting any sleep anyway and there was extra kitty's in the barn. The 3 I usually feed every day and 2 extra that I haven't seen since April. I thought my foxes might have got them. Foxes are still here. They come out every night to play tag around the yard. They sure are growing. I can't hardly tell which one is the mom anymore. Not much else new. Weeded most of the garden yesterday. Only had two rows to go and my hand played out on me. Guess I'll finish when it dries up a bit. Half of my garden didn't grow this year. Not sure why but maybe I moved it to far to the east. Or it could be from all the wind we've had. Still got a couple of flower beds to dig up but not sure if it's happening this year. Well I don't know anything as we haven't gone anywhere in SO long that I have forgotten how to get there. If that makes any sense. I still go to town once a week. Bills have to be paid and groceries have to be bought. Take care you all. Safe travels if you are out and about. Cisco hiding from the storm.

Update on the farm. Well I still have seven kitties. My old cat Tigger has had a hard time but she is getting better. One of the stray males hurt her back and she has been pretty much disabled for the last 3 weeks. This is the first morning that she actually got up and ate out of her dish without me literally having to hold the dish for her every 4 hours. Our son got rid of all the skunks but one and he seems to be quite happy staying under my sunroom and stealing sunflower seeds from under the bird feeder. I sit and talk to him and if I get to close he raises his tail so I back up and he lowers it again and continues eating. My mom a Fox is back again this year. She's been coming for 3 or 4 years. She lives under the Little House for the summer and raises her kits (pups). This year she has 6 of them. Cute to watch playing in and around my apricot trees. Other than that not much new. Lots of birds and squirrels. Got the garden in yesterday. So today I'm just going to sit and watch my babies play. You all have a great day.

Good morning everyone. Well first of all if anyone has to drive anywhere today please be careful. I skated to the barn this morning literally, to feed the cats. I went to feed my old kitty on the deck as that is where she's been living for the winter and she finally had her kittens. I peeked in the box as all I could see was the rug rolled up from the back and two eyes peeking over it.. it was really windy here and I heard these little meows coming from the back. I just hope they survive. It's still really cold here. Well I guess I better go make some breakfast. My better half just got up and I should feed him. Take care all and drive safe out there.

Good morning everyone. Well it was an interesting morning and it's not even 6am. Kinda slept in as i didn't get a lot of sleep Thursday night. So like always I was going to go out and feed the cats and my old pregnant one was on the deck looking for her food. I opened the door to give it to her and all this sleet and icy rain was coming at me. So I fed her in her box as no one should have to stand out there in that. Especially if they are pregnant. Got dressed and went to feed the ones in the barn going in carefully in case my "friend" the skunk was there. Nope didn't see him so I closed the door and went in talking to my 4 little kittens. Filled up there dishes and I heard a noise behind me. Here is this big old rac**n trying to get out this little hole in the door that the cats use to come and go. He got in somehow so I just let him wiggle his way out thanking the Lord that it wasn't a skunk. Now I have nothing against skunks but I wish God had made them smell differently as they are a very cute animal.. Mr or Mrs c**n went under the chop bin. They are also pretty cute but this one was huge. I was sure I was going to have to give him a push to get him out of the six inch hole he was going through. Lol. I do so love my animals. Tame or wild they all make me laugh at times.

We nothing else really going on down on the farm. Been trying to do some needle work as my hand still doesn't want to close properly and my wrist still doesn't want to lift much. Think I might be left handed by spring if spring ever gets here. You all take care, be safe and drive carefully out there. The roads can't be that great if you are getting any of this icy raining stuff.
