Your venue is already making design decisions for you, whether you realize it or not!

When you fall in love with a space, sometimes the best thing you can do is lean into what’s already there.

For this wedding at a historic train station, we ran with it!! Luggage tags became the seating chart, rich green velvet linens pulled from the existing green walls, and every detail was chosen to feel like it belonged in the space.

A cohesive wedding design doesn’t always mean transforming your venue into something completely different. Sometimes, it’s about noticing what makes it special, and building from there.

One of the easiest ways to make the most of your floral budget is to design your ceremony pieces with your reception in mind!!

Ground florals can move to the base of your seating chart, aisle arrangements can become reception décor, and larger ceremony pieces can be repurposed around your bar, sweetheart table or other focal points.

Some floral designers will move these pieces for you, or your planner, friends or family can take care of the switch.

Either way, you’re getting two moments out of the same florals instead of paying for everything twice. Just make sure you have a solid moving plan in place before the wedding day and you’re set!!

A little tablescape detail that can make a big different, table width!!

When choosing your centrepieces, it’s important to think about how all of your details will work together. The goal isn’t always to fit more onto a table. It’s to make sure every detail has room the breathe.

Larger, fuller florals and layered candles are so beautiful, but they also need enough room alongside your chargers, glassware, stationary and flatware. If you are dreaming of a fuller tablescape, choosing a wider table can give each element the space it needs without the design feeling crowded.

We loved how these overflowing florals brought so much life into this space while still keeping the design soft and timeless!

Corporate events deserve thoughtful design too!!

For this grand opening, we wanted everything to feel cohesive with the companies existing branding, while also taking inspiration from the beautiful new building we were there to celebrate.

We pulled the wood tones and blues directly from the exterior and carried that thoughtout the event! Because good event design isn’t always about creating something completely new. Sometimes, it’s about paying attention to what’s already there and building from it!!

The best wedding details don’t just look beautiful, they tell a story!

Since our couple was getting married at a historic train station (and even said “I do” inside the train!), we wanted every part of the day to feel connected. Vintage luggage tags, a vintage inspired clock, and classic wall sconces came together to welcome guests in a way that felt completely true to their story.
