Why is it called 7 Badgers? No, we do not have seven actual badgers working in the back room. 😅

The name comes from Elena’s maiden name, Badger, and the fact that she is the oldest of seven siblings. Family is a huge part of her story, and when she built this boutique, she wanted the name to feel personal—because the reason behind the business is personal too.

7 Badgers was created after years of feeling frustrated by the lack of trendy, comfortable options for plus-size women. Elena wanted to build the kind of shopping experience she had been searching for: welcoming, honest, size-inclusive, and centred around helping women feel good in the bodies they have today.

So yes, the name is about family, but the boutique has grown into a much bigger family of women supporting women. If you have shopped with us, shared a post, sent a friend, or simply followed along, you are part of it. 💜

Packing for a fall weekend away without bringing half your closet? Start with pieces that can work more than once. 🍂
