I’m sitting here 48hours later trying to find the right words… how do you capture the true emotion behind words… I am truly devastated and there are no words to describe the loss we feel. As many of you have probably heard we will begin winding down our business over the next few weeks.
I think about the relationships formed through our store, from our amazing team to our home office team and loyal customers. We have made real friendships that will last a lifetime. The four walls surrounding us have shared laughter, memories, lessons, secrets and many inside jokes… the culture we’ve created have impacted positively on each of our lives. We were so many young kids first jobs that they now take their learned skills with them many years later. Our team has been committed to delivering genuine connections with so many regular customers who have become so much more than a customer… I want to thank all of you for being a part of our lives and making us your favorite Jean destination for so many years! I want to thank my team for showing up and being true, authentic and passionate each day, I will truly miss each and everyone of you, we weren’t just a business we became family.
Note to our customers as of May 13 we will no longer be able to accept gift cards or returns. As frustrating as this is for our customers please show compassion towards our team as this is a very emotional time for all of us. We will continue to be 100% transparent through this and will post any updates as they happen. We will also let you know when the liquidation process begins. To my team and customers it has truly been an absolutely amazing 18 years.
