Yes, quilts are my FAVOURITE! But, I also work on window treatments. Custom AND alterations. Today I am altering some already made curtains of a client. I am making them a bit narrower as the new home has different sized windows. Always happy to help people reuse what they have! (And yes, I hem or pleat Ikea curtains for people too)

Another dreary day out there, another day dreaming about cheery quilts in here! I've been thinking about this "scrappy baby quilt" I made a few years ago and have been thinking it's time to search my fabric bins and make another this weekend.
Almost done my curtains and ready for a little more fun!

While Euro-pleat and pinch pleat curtains are some of the most asked for curtain headings, this "wave heading" is quite popular too. It is a simple design that is easy to install on a rod with rings and clips! The tape on the back keeps all the soft waves evenly sized and spaced when you close the curtains versus a flat panel that may have waves when pulled open, but lacks body when closed.

Stormy Mondays… how do you beat them?

For me, it’s dreaming of the weekend when I can get back to finishing this little quilt I started last week when I was waiting for a clients fabric. The reality of today was working on curtains and being pelted by ice when picking the kids up from the bus… I like dreaming about this much better! 💕

I can't recall if I ever shared this quilt. Sometimes they are complete but I have to wait for the recipient to receive them.

This was a memory quilt made out of "Nanny's" shirts. She passed just before her great grandson was born, but we thought she would like to snuggle him and so this baby quilt was made out of some of her blouses.

While I make many of the t-shirt quilts, there are so many options for these special memory quilts.

For orders placed (and clothing delivered) by Nov 5th, quilts will be $25 off AND guaranteed for Christmas (all others will depend on order date)

Quilts with 12-15 shirts will be $200 plus supplies and quilts with 20 shirts will be $300 plus supplies. (Supply costs vary based on fabric and batting choice, but typically are $40-$60)

For larger sizes or memory quilts with baby clothing, please message me with details for a quote.

A client saw a heart quilt I made over two years ago and asked me to make one for his wife's retirement gift, so this has been my project of late! The missing hearts have names being embroidered on them. Just waiting for their return to finish this beauty up!
