While we have been working in the background with new event plans we are not involved in that production so any questions will need to be directed to their production teams. We can't wait to have Atlantic Fashion Week back for its 14th season, we just want to ensure it's perfect after the world's big reset ❤️

The 2022 The Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards self nominations are now live!

Applications are now open for CAFA 2022! There are 17 categories open now for self-nomination.

To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to be considered, and to discover new talent, CAFA is offering Canadians across all fashion industry categories the opportunity to submit an application. There is no fee to apply.

Members of the 2022 CAFA Nominating Committee will be reviewing ALL of the applicants as well as putting forward names they would also like to be considered. ALL of the submissions will then be reviewed and the final 2022 nominees will be announced in late winter next year.

The ‘Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards’ (CAFA) was created to recognize and celebrate outstanding achievement and emerging talent in Canadian fashion

Due to the global Coronavirus pandemic and the strong possibly of a second surge, it is with mixed emotions that we announce the postponement of our Fall 2020 event until Spring 2021.

It is with excitement, however, that we announce a new digital initiative that will aim to keep the spotlight on our region’s designers during these uncertain times.

In an effort to continue supporting and celebrating our region’s incredible talent, we will launch a digital interview series, “Meet Our Makers”, which will showcase some of the incredible individuals who make up the fabric of the Atlantic Canadian fashion industry.

While our designers, models, hair stylists and make-up artists have long captured the world’s attention by showcasing their talents on our Atlantic Fashion Week runways, we hope this series will be a unique spin on allowing those from around the globe to see just how special our small but mighty industry is, and get to know the amazing stories behind some of the names they’ve come to know through our events over the past 14 years.

We will announce further details about the Meet Our Makers series later this summer, and will share our launch date with you early this Fall.
