Good day folks, hope you havent gotten blown or flooded away, it did not appear to be a pleasant night. I got that from the times I was awake, in between the times I wasnt sleeping.. I need coffee but unfortunately I wont be able to get any from Maritimes-Guatemala Breaking the Silence Network- BTS today as I'll be in Waverley Legion Royal Canadian Legion Dieppe Br90 for the Waverly Fi****ms show from 9-5. However, my ever trusty partner will be holding down the fort at the Halifax Forum Farmers' Market for our normal hours. Not sure what your plans are for the day but now you know ours so you can make some choices and come visit one or both of us.. or neither, if thats the way you are leaning. Whatever you decide, stay safe and as always, have a wonderful day.

Slowly getting set up for the BLT Community Market ! Not long now

10/10/2026

Good day folks, its that time again. Time to make the donuts.. wait, that was 1985, we dont go back in time for a couple of weeks yet. Its market time, thats what it is. Today we will be split between the Halifax Forum Farmers' Market from 8-1 and the BLT Community Market from 930-2! There might even be a familiar red headed helper at the Forum.. depending on sleep levels. Anyway, come visit at one or both, expand your horizons and get out into the world!
But whatever you do, as always have a wonderful day.

Folks, just a reminder that this weekend we will be split up, with me at the BLT Community Market and my ever faithful at the Halifax Forum Farmers' Market. Sharpening can be done at either market, and while I encourage you to visit both of us, you can of course just choose one of us to take care of your dullness. 😁
Hope to see you.

Here it is .. October.. and we are setting up for another busy month. Dance weekend this weekend so I have been left all alone :-( but at least I'll be at the Halifax Forum Farmers' Market on time :-D
On a more somber note, we have recently lost our longtime friend and musical guest Maria Alley, who passed this week. She had been a staple at the market for many years and was loved by all, young and old. Marcel will be in this week and he will be performing a couple of songs in her honour.

As always, we hope to see you there but if you cant make it, stay safe and have a wonderful day.

Good day folks, I know you have been missing me the last couple of weeks as I head to other markets but Im back at the Halifax Forum Farmers' Market for a few weeks (before I head off again) so take the time and brave the monsoon and come visit today. It is officially the first week of fall we are heading into the peak of harvest season so who knows what bounties are in store. Seriously, who knows? Like whats normally available this time of year? You should come look.
Of course if the rain is holding you back or you know, you have work or something and you cant make it, as always have a wonderful day.
