The first Campbell River Farmers market & Arts Faire of the year was a very successful one!

Thank you to all the wonderful folks and friends that came out to celebrate the 25th anniversary of such an integral and special community event. It was a privilege to be apart of it.

Huge shout out to my boyfriend Jamie McIsaac for all of his assistance, coffee deliveries and words of encouragement. I couldn’t have done it without you.🤍

The wee face behind Charitable Bead Co. 🐚

I’m Jess, and I am the one woman show behind this small business!

Creating tangible beauty with my hands is something that has always been primary in nature for me. I love to work with natural materials, specifically gemstones, and beading is something that I have been doing now for over ten years. Charitable Bead Co first came to life in 2020 during my time studying Social Work in Ontario, where I am originally from. It was important to me that my small business supported the work of a non-profit organization that was close to my heart. Over my active years of running this business of mine, and with the support of my wonderful customers, we collectively raised over $2000.00 for the Elizabeth Fry Society, Southern Ontario Region.

When I began working full time in the field of Social Work, my business took a back seat for a couple of years. Last summer, I made some big life changes. I packed up my little car and drove out to the West Coast with my bestie. I am now living on the northern side of beautiful Vancouver Island with a new lust for life and sense of creativity, and feel it is time to dust off the cobwebs of my shop.

This year, you can expect to see me selling my jewelry in the valley at local markets, shops and through Instagram.💫

P.S, If you’re interested in custom orders, please feel free to drop me a message. I would love to bring your idea to life!

Infinite X’s and O’s to all those that support my art. ❤️‍🔥
