Some orders just hit different. 🥹

This one included the original Grey Matter design
AND colours — the one I started the business with 12 years ago.

And then I noticed the name on the order... I recognized it. They had ordered from me two years ago. 🙌🏼

As a small, one-woman handmade business, repeat orders aren’t just another sale. They’re a little reminder that something I created became part of someone’s life — and they liked it enough to choose it again.
That feeling never gets old.

Some colors quietly disappear… and this is one of them. 💙

Baby Light Turquoise paired with Owl Grey is back on my table tonight, but only for a handful of pairs before this fabric is gone for good.

Now I’m debating… should I keep the classic weave, or sneak in a few Chevron versions with a pop of lime? 🌿

I see thousands and thousands of tiny strips.

Before they can adjust to your day… before they can keep your hands warm while leaving your fingers free… it all starts right here.

Every strip is cut one at a time before it’s woven into my original Grey Matter design.

It’s repetitive. It’s oddly satisfying. And it’s one of those behind-the-scenes steps almost nobody ever gets to see.

And yes… I have a very healthy respect for the machine that does the cutting.

There’s a little voice in my head the entire time:
“Stay focused. Pay attention. Keep your hands where they belong.”

Because an 8-inch blade deserves your full attention.

People always ask when cozy season starts around here… honestly? Right now.

Because the handmade pieces you reach for all fall and winter begin as little piles of fabric and big cozy dreams in the middle of summer.
