The older I get, the less I’m interested in fast, shiny and “just for now”.

I’m much more drawn to things that are natural, well made and meant to last. Things that feel good on my skin, that I can wear again and again, and that don’t need to be replaced next season.

Maybe that’s one of the reasons I love merino so much. 🤎

Natural. Soft. Breathable. Durable. No unnecessary fuss.

I think I’m simply at the stage of life where I’d rather have less, but better.

And honestly, it feels good.

We can’t believe we missed our own birthday! 🎂🤦‍♀️

MEWOMEE turned ONE in August, and somehow, between everyday life, markets, orders, new ideas and everything that comes with building a small business… we completely missed the moment. 😅

But this first year deserves to be celebrated.

What started with two Ewas, two Polish girls and one simple idea — “What if we brought a little piece of Poland to Canada?” — became so much more than we expected.

We met incredible people. We made new friendships. We took MEWOMEE to markets, found amazing Ambassadors who believed in us, and watched our pieces travel all the way across Canada to BC. 🇨🇦🤍🇵🇱

So we made this little song to tell the story of our first year.

And most importantly — to say thank you.

Three years is a long time to be away. ❤️

This summer I finally had a chance to spend a little time in Poland again — with family, friends, food I missed… and, of course, the mountains.

We packed a lot into a very short trip. Poland, Slovakia, long hiking days, changing weather, some questionable decisions 😅, incredible views and a few moments when the forecast completely changed our plans.

I also brought my MEWOMEE merino with me. Not because I was planning a big product test — I simply needed clothes I could hike in. But after wearing it through long climbs, sweat, wind, cooler mornings and changing temperatures, I came home with a lot of thoughts about merino in real life.

So over the next few weeks, I’m taking you along. 🏔️

I’ll show you where we went, why we chose the trails we did, what the conditions were really like, what I wore — and what I learned about our merino when I actually put it to work.
