A Heartfelt Goodbye to Cottage Boutique
After 35 wonderful years, it is with a very heavy heart that my sister, Lorie, has made the difficult decision to close Cottage Boutique.
This is not how Lorie ever imagined her journey with the store would end. Due to health issues and cancer surgery she had in Edmonton on Tuesday (Sept 8th) that will require a very long recovery period, she has made the incredibly difficult decision to close her doors.
For three and a half decades, Cottage Boutique has been so much more than a clothing store. It has been a place filled with friendships, laughter, conversations, special occasions, and memories. So many of Lorie and Anne’s wonderful customers became dear friends along the way, and for that, they are truly grateful. ❤️
She would like to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to every customer who walked through her doors, supported their business, shared a kind word, brought a friend, and helped make Cottage Boutique a part of our community for the past 35 years, actually 45, as Karen owned it for 10 years prior.
The store has a large amount of inventory, and with the help of family and friends, we will begin moving it out with sales over the next few months. There will be lots to see, and we hope you’ll stop in and take advantage of the sales while they last and help spread the word.
Please note that store hours will vary as we navigate the staffing, so please watch our Facebook and Instagram posts for updates on hours and upcoming sales. We will also post the changes on the front door.
For now, the store will be closed for a short time, from Friday September 11th to Monday the 21st and reopen Tuesday Sept 22nd, at 10:00 am.
Lorie and our family are so thankful for your patience, understanding, and support during this difficult transition.
Thank you for 35 incredible years.
Thank you for the memories.
Thank you for the friendships.
And most of all, thank you for being part of the Cottage Boutique family. ❤️
With heartfelt gratitude,
Lorie & Anne
