This painting trend involves painting a room in one continuous hue. This includes the walls, trim, door jam, and ceiling. I love it for powder rooms, dining rooms + entryways, as it lends visual impact + a moody/ elegant feel to your space. I encourage you to be thoughtful with your colour choice, as it will create your “mood” for the room. I remember when I opened my space, in 2010, it was both exciting + terrifying in the same moment. The doubt crept in, uncertainty + and wonder, if what I loved, would my community love it? today we live in a time of greed, overwhelm + bigger, better, faster. that’s not my jam. and maybe it’s not your either. these are the shoppes I desire partnerships with. fellow founders who know the hustle of hard work, building from the ground up, choosing a slow build, and partnering with other like minded founders. It’s a dream. mary the shoppe keep shares her passion for slow, earth friendly living with her community+ it shows. from beautiful curation, a killer playlist, and a kind + welcoming nature, this is what small business is all about. had the pleasure of sharing space with her momma Nancy, and it was apparent that she loves her daughter + her passion project. thank you mary for adding our shower melts to your collection of goods. we are in good company.
