I greatly apologize for needing to switch one of our days off for another. Due to a tragic loss, we will be closed the 21st instead of the 23rd, so we can be with our family. We are truly sorry if this closure on the 21st interferes with plans you have already made, but we trust you understand that we need to be with our loved ones.

P.S. I know your hearts and I am grateful for them all beyond measure, but please no condolence messages, as I do not have the time to respond to them properly. Thank you! 🙏🙏

June was an overwhelming month, so unfortunately I didn't post about the Munsee-Delaware Traditional Gathering. Last year, I had an issue finding the proper advertisement for it, but this year there wouldn't have been a problem; it was just me not being able to find enough time. I hope those in attendance had a very powerful experience and if June got away on you as well, you have a wonderful opportunity this weekend to surround yourself with the very best dancers, singers, and drummers. The Grand River Champion of Champions Powwow will thrill your senses and transport you through centuries of culture where tradition and honour to this day are not just words, but a way of life for our Indigenous peoples.

We are sad to be missing a getaway that we hold so very dear, especially as it gets closer and we talk about it more and more with customers. We truly hope the air quality and fire risk there will be better by then, so everyone visiting can fully experience the amazingness of Bancroft in every way possible! The 61st Annual Rockhound Gemboree starts in two weeks and if you have never had the pleasure of being a part of this extraordinary show, then be sure to make every effort to fit it in if you are in the area or consider taking a day trip that you will never regret or forget!

We are sorry for taking longer than anticipated to follow up regarding our last post. We will not be taking off any other days for the remainder of July, so the 24th, as already mentioned, is the only day coming up that we will be closed. Thank you, again, for bearing with us while we figured out our plans. We hope the beginning of your summer has been wonderful so far!

Unfortunately, we are not able to give you a complete list of the days we are closed for July, as our plans for the last week are still up in the air. The following days though are for certain, the 1st, 2nd, 8th, 9th, and 24th. As soon as we make a decision regarding the end of July, you will be informed.
