🎄🍪 Gauging Interest – Christmas Sugar Cookie Decorating Classes! 🍪🎄

A girlfriend of mine recently suggested that I offer sugar cookie decorating classes through The Knotty Pantry, and it got me thinking… this could be a lot of fun! ❤️

I’m tossing around the idea of offering a beginner-friendly class where we’d decorate a few simple Christmas sugar cookies together!

🎄 What would be included?

* Freshly baked Christmas sugar cookies
* Royal icing in festive colours
* All decorating supplies
* Step-by-step instruction on outlining, flooding, and adding simple details
* Your beautifully decorated cookies to take home!

No experience necessary — just a fun, relaxed opportunity to learn something new and get into the Christmas spirit!

Nothing is set in stone, and I’m not sure whether this would happen this Christmas or sometime in the future.

One of my favourite holiday memories from when my daughter was younger is decorating cookies together. ❤️ Those simple moments filled with laughter, creativity and a little bit of mess are memories I’ll always treasure.

🥖✨ TKP BREAD TIP OF THE DAY! ✨🥖

Did you know you can bring your sourdough bread back to life?

If your loaf is a few days old and starting to feel a little firm, don’t toss it!

💦 Step 1: Give your loaf a quick run under the tap! Yep, you read that right! Lightly wet the crust under running water. Don’t soak it!

🔥 Step 2: Pop your loaf directly into a preheated oven at 350°F for approximately 5–10 minutes, or until warmed through and crisp. Larger loaves may need a little longer.

🥖 Step 3: Let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and enjoy that crispy crust and soft, warm centre!

🦃 THANKSGIVING BONUS TIP!

Got some sourdough that’s past its prime? Cube it up and turn it into delicious homemade stuffing for your Thanksgiving turkey!

Sourdough makes AMAZING stuffing, soaking up all those buttery, savoury flavours while adding a little extra tang!

Freshen it up or stuff your bird — either way, don’t waste good bread! 😉
