That is a wrap on the second summer of the Team DMBeach elite beach program! When we started last year I couldn't have dreamed that we would have grown this much just in our second season. The interest in our programming this summer was a bit overwhelming to be honest, but in a really good way! To expand the number of teams, I had to add to our coaching staff and wow did we get lucky!
So, I wanted to take a moment of appreciation for the great coaches that were by my side all summer! You are the heart and soul of the team, a team that grew into the DMBEACH family!
Coach Bruno, the legend himself, brought knowledge, passion, wisdom, and energy to every practice. Such a huge inspiration and role model for these athletes and for me as well.
Coach Mia ( ) was a consistent source of energy and example for these young athletes. An example of what hard work and dedication can bring! Always positive, always bringing the fun, and able to really connect and inspire! Good luck this coming season in Moncton! You will kill it.
Last but definitely not least we have coach Andrew ( ). How lucky were we to have coach Andrew drop in our laps and agree to coach with us this summer. A great athlete himself and a future teacher, Andrew brought a calm and steady presence every practice. Ready to step in with advice for any athlete and ready to step in and lead drills, demo drills, and even design and lead practice when needed! Always smiling and always a positive source of knowledge for these athletes.
Thank you coaches, none of this would be possible without you and excited to have you back next summer!
